Here’s a reminder that Ilya Kovalchuk is still really, really good. Russia was competing against Belarus during the World Hockey Championships and Kovalchuk scored a pretty awesome goal without even looking at the net.
Kovalchuk drifted in and completely sold the fact he was going to pass. One slick wrister later, Kovalchuk tallied a nifty goal and Russia cruised to a lopsided victory.
