The Tampa Bay Lightning won Game 2 against the Montreal Canadiens on Sunday to take a 2-0 series lead. As the game drew to a close, the Canadiens’ anger and frustration became more visible, culminating in a series of events from Brandon Prust.
Prust was called for tripping Ben Bishop. The Lightning took exception and there was a brief skirmish. Prust headed for the dressing room, but not before rifling his elbow pad over at the Tampa Bay bench.
The GIF below speculates it was a glove, but later it was clear it was an elbow pad.
