The Blue Jackets scored seven times against the Blues on Friday night, but the most bizarre was a goal credited to Cam Atkinson. The puck popped into the air off of a stick and hit Scott Hartnell in the helmet. As Hartnell turned to see what hit him, the puck floated up over Brian Elliott and hit the top of the net. It then bounced off the crossbar and down, where Atkinson waved his stick at it. He nudged the puck ever so slightly and it hit off of Elliott and into the net.
Pretty strange sequence.
