The Red Wings have been on the wrong end of a ton of calls recently. Perhaps the most obvious example was the goal which was disallowed due to goaltender interference. Maybe it’s because of those recent injustices that the officials turned a blind eye to this obvious Too Many Men penalty.
That’s a pretty bad miss by the officials. A puck sliding past the bench on a slow change will result in a penalty, but this goes uncalled. Maybe the officials felt the Red Wings deserved a break.
