Hockey players have been universally recognized for their toughness, but perhaps some of that praise needs to be sent towards head coach Barry Trotz.
Trotz was behind the bench as the Capitals and Maple Leafs started the first period when the puck came over the boards and struck him right in the head. The ref cam showed Trotz shrugging off the incident even though he had a pretty big bump.
You can’t really see the moment of impact from the video, but watching Trotz completely brush off what happened is pretty awesome.
Who says only the players are tough?
