Connor McDavid has been praised for his speed, but he apparently deserves some recognition for his vertical too. While trying to avoid a hit along the boards, McDavid hopped over the boards and into the Coyotes’ bench with seemingly minimal effort.
McDavid almost looks surprised that he landed in the Coyotes’ laps. Of course, the bench looked pretty surprised too.
While it was impressive seeing McDavid avoid the hit, next time he might be better off keeping his skates on the ice as hopping over the boards could result in a more serious injury than the actual hit.
