The first-ever meeting between Auston Matthews and Patrik Laine was one to remember. The battle between two of the top rookies in the NHL was a crazy game in which Laine came out on top after finishing his hat trick with an OT winner.
This entire sequence was pretty awesome to watch. Matthews broke in and was denied, sending Laine the other way to win it for the Jets.
After such an incredible first game between the two young stars, one can only hope that future meetings are able to live up to the growing expectations.
