The triple deke is one of the most legendary moves in all of hockey. Made famous by Gordon Bombay (and later imitated by Charlie Conway), the triple deke is the perfect move when you absolutely have to score in a shootout. That is, if that shootout occurs within the confines of a Mighty Ducks movie.
What does T.J. Oshie, one of the best shootout artists in the NHL, think about the triple deke? Does he think it’s effective?

“If Gordon Bombay said it, it has to be real.”
That’s one hell of an answer. Think Oshie is joking?

OK, so the move is barely even a “move” all things considered and would never actually work, but it’s still legendary.
