Video: Team USA’s Charlie McAvoy obliterates Team Canada’s Lawson Crouse

Exhibition games are supposed to be fun and slow paced. It doesn’t make for great TV most of the time as it just ends up being background noise for whatever else is going on. We saw recently in the KHL how serious some exhibition games can be, but when it comes to USA vs. Canada exhibitions games, all bets are off. When Team USA’s Charlie McAvoy (recently drafted by the Bruins) got Team Canada’s Lawson Crouse (drafted by the Florida Panthers) in his sights, it was game over.

Team USA ended up winning this game 5-1 and this hit during the game had to be the cherry on top of a dominant performance. A textbook clean hit. This one is going to hurt for a while and Crouse will be hearing about it for a long time.
