We could all argue about which Florida Panthers goalie gives the team the best chance to win going forward this season: Incumbent Roberto Luongo, or newcomer James Reimer. But one thing we thought we couldn’t argue was which goalie had more social media skills. Luongo’s strombone1 Twitter account is generally thought to be one of the best Twitter accounts by an athlete in the world. So we thought: “no contest there”.
Except that April Reimer, James’ wife, has proven herself to have a very similar sense of humor, and can quickly help close the gap. Check out this tweet from April to announce the excellent news that she and James are expecting a child:

The goalie’s wife sure as heck scored with that one. If she shares her Twitter acumen with her husband, then not only will Luongo have to look over his shoulder, but so will Strombone1. Congratulations to the Reimer family.
