When you don’t have a lot to lose, the ability to keep it loose is a big asset to your team. Joe Thornton has been through it all and has been criticized for his shortcomings for quite some time.
But while the Sharks were enjoying a dominant effort in Game 2, Thornton kept things light by spraying water on some fans and dancing with the kids by the glass.
As the series continues on, I wonder if this attitude will continue as well. The Sharks could definitely use it.
