Fans missed a large chunk of STL-DAL Game 7 due to Charter outage

The Blues had an extremely impressive performance in a dominant Game 7 win against the Dallas Stars. Unfortunately, hockey fans subscribed to Charter missed out on most of the final period as the cable provider experienced a widespread outage.

The outage plagued a huge section of the country at one point:

Blues fans were upset (rightfully so), but they thankfully didn’t miss too much. The Blues entered the third up 5-0 and the team mostly coasted to a 6-1 final. Can you imagine if this game was close or went to overtime? Twitter users had #CharterOutage trending almost immediately, but the outcry would be even worse had the game been a close battle.

Some fans got creative during the outage:

A lot of fans were angry:

But many kept their sense of humor:

Even the most angry Blues fans won’t mind once they remember their squad is heading to the Western Final for the first time since 2001.
