Video: North Dakota player crushed by ref after scoring a goal

It’s rare that an official delivers the biggest hit in a hockey game. Such was the case when North Dakota competed against Michigan in the regional final of the NCAA men’s hockey tournament.

Drake Caggiula opened the scoring, but was immediately sent flying into the boards as he rounded the net and crashed into the official. The ref didn’t even move, but it looked like one incredible hip check.

That’s one hell of a check.
