Video: Victor Hedman earns game misconduct for shooting the puck at an official

Victor Hedman wasn’t too happy after the puck hit off an official, popped in front of the Tampa Bay crease and was easily put in the back of the net by the Sharks. He fired the puck down the ice, but the officials thought he might have been aiming at them, earning the defenseman a game misconduct.

There appears to be no intent on this play, so the ruling seems a bit harsh. The puck wasn’t even that close to any of the officials.
