As a hockey player, you are asked to be cerebral and to use your good hockey sense to your advantage. Tyler Myers on the other hand probably wasn’t anticipating having to use his head – twice – to preserve a shutout.

The utter intestinal fortitude it takes to do what he did is part heroic and part insane. I can’t even begin to think about doing something like that. That is why he gets paid the big bucks and I sit at home writing about players like him.
