Video: KHL player scores an impressive own goal

The KHL is much like the odd step brother of the NHL. You get the good, but you also get the bad. In this case you get the down right weird as Evgeny Ketov makes a shot Patrick Kane would be proud of … while scoring on his own net.

His face while he is on the bench is that of pure terror.

Ketov told SovSport after the game:

“We all understand that it happens in hockey, there are guys who scored an own goal, this is purely a matter of chance. Upset, of course, I did not expect this.”

Luckily for Ketov his team SKA was able to pull out the victory in overtime.
