The five best hockey fights from weeks 16 and 17 in the NHL

The roughhousing returns! And with the All-Star break getting in the way, we give you the best of two weeks worth of fisticuffs. So here they are: the five best fights from weeks 16 & 17:

5. Patrick Maroon (EDM) vs Cody McLeod (NSH)

Cody McLeod always gives you your money’s worth when he drops ’em. As for Patrick Maroon, he has to be tough as long as he’s on the wing of one Connor McDavid. Both players give us a battle here.

4. Jordan Tootoo (CHI) vs Antoine Roussel (DAL)

This one started slow but Jordan Tootoo livens it up with a great left to drop Roussel.

3. Scott Wilson (PIT) vs Colin Miller (BOS)

Now we’re in the elite of the elite. Miller and Wilson fought like their hair was on fire. Miller took the decision, but both fighters represented themselves well.

2. Adam McQuaid (BOS) vs Matt Martin (TOR)

You have to respect the guys that have done it for a while, and McQuaid and Martin did it for a while before McQuaid ended it with a solid shot.

1. Joseph Cramarossa (ANH) vs J.T. Brown (TBL)

This was a short one, but it was short in the way that Marvin Hagler and Tommy Hearns was a short fight. Full of action and haymakers. This was our clear winner for this week.

Don’t forget to join us next week when we drop the gloves again for the fights of the week.
