Pavel Datsyuk’s April Fools’ Day joke was … something

Pavel Datsyuk's moves and dekes out on the ice often leave opposing players and fans wondering what just happened. As San Jose's Logan Couture found out, Datsyuk is capable of things normal people simply can't understand.

Evidently, this also includes April Fools' Day jokes as Datsyuk Tweeted a "joke" that has us all scratching our heads.

Any guesses?

Datsyuk's Tweet left most fans puzzled. We could look at this several ways. Datsyuk was bored and wanted to vaguely imply he liked the Edmonton Oilers before dispelling the notion a few characters later. Or, Datsyuk was looking for some romantic company but psyched us all out because he was talking about an …oil company. Maybe Datsyuk was trying to say he wanted to purchase a company because he was bored, something along the lines of an oil company.

Those are literally our best guesses and they were almost too ridiculous to even type. Maybe we should all just focus on his terrific play on the ice and ignore his attempts at Twitter comedy.
