Paul Ranger uses his foot in clever shootout attempt

Paul Ranger did his best to liven up a preseason shootout between the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Buffalo Sabres. Taking a shot in the 10th round of a meaningless shootout, Ranger called on his foot to deliver one of the most memorable shootout attempts in NHL history.

If only that would have gone in. You can tell by the huge grin on Ranger's face prior to his attempt that he knows he's about to do something ridiculous. Buffalo netminder Jhonas Enroth didn't seem very fond of Ranger's move, delivering a nice slash to the defenseman after his shot. However, after the game Enroth commented that it wasn't that big of a deal and admitted it was pretty creative.
